I am currently recovering from a total hysterotomy conducted by Dr Rekha and her team. Due to underlying complications, I was warned that the procedure might require open surgery. Although I was very anxious at first, Dr Rekha explained the keyhole robotic surgery procedure to me before my operation, which made me feel very reassured. I am now recovering well and will be back to work soon. Our country has many excellent surgeons, but Dr Rekha's unique approach, which involves listening to the patient and showing a friendly, caring attitude, sets her apart. These little things make a massive difference to the patient's experience. It was worth for me to travel from Cambridgeshire to London to opt her as my consultant. In her own words about the surgery, she said, "if we prepare well and get it done well."

Miss Wuntakal is a friendly caring and fantastic professional. I had to undergo a procedure a few weeks ago, which due to my physiology was very difficult and was extremely painful. However, Miss Wuntakal asked if I would like her to stop and reschedule the appointment under general anaesthetic. I decided to continue. At each step of the procedure she explained exactly what she was doing and explained why it was difficult to complete. I would 100% recommend that Miss Wuntakal for any Obstetrics & Gynaecology issues. She took the time to listen and explain everything in detail. She was very calming and respectful.

I found Rekha Wuntakal professional kind/caring and understanding. she took time to listerned to any questions i had and took the time to explain in detail in laymens terms any concerns. My mum is 87 and a patient with Rekha, she is a bit hard of hearing but Rekha and Mandy really made her feel comfortable and at ease. They are both genuinely kind people. Thank you.

Miss Wuntakal has been fantastic, professional and friendly with regard to my surgery for a full hysterectomy. She has performed 2 surgeries for me this year and the information she has given is thorough, accurate and given in a way that is understandable, with any questions answered. I would 100% recommend that Miss Wuntakal should be the first surgeon that you see in regard to your own surgery! The follow-up appointments have been informative, calm and reassuring of any next steps. Cannot give a high enough recommendation for this lady.

Dr. Wuntakal and Mandy (senior cancer care nurse) have both been amazingly supportive during a very challenging time. They explained each stage of the process clearly so mum could understand. They are so personable and kind and mum felt very comforted and relaxed about the prognosis.
